Laser Distance Measurers
Point a laser to determine the distance to an object up to hundreds of feet away. These measurers show the distance on the LCD or viewfinder display. You’ll need a target plate (sold separately) to measure distances over 150 ft. or when shining the laser on an uneven, clear, or mirrored surface.
Measurers with a color touch screen have a camera, so you can select your target on the screen. You can also magnify the image up to four times larger than its original size.
Green lasers appear up to 10 times brighter than red lasers, so they’re easier to see outdoors, in bright lighting, and from far away.
Measurers that cannot be sold to the listed regions do not meet energy efficiency requirements.

Digital Tape Measures
Easily read your measurements with the digital display on these tape measures. Using the display, you can toggle between inch and metric readings. The length of the tape measure’s body can also be included in or excluded from your measurements. Activate the perpendicular laser line to precisely align these tape measures. Click a button as you go to log your measurements to an additional screen on the handle. Download an app to calculate, organize, store, and share your measurements.
A USB charger and cord (both sold separately) are required to charge these tape measures.

Distance-Measuring Modules for Development Boards
Stream distance readings to your development board in real time. Set up these modules near your robotics, production lines, or liquid monitoring systems to capture changing positioning.
Ultrasonic modules use sound pulses to measure distance. They can be used in low lighting. However, they may not be accurate on soft, small, or oddly shaped objects that won’t reflect sound waves properly.
Infrared LED modules bounce light off an object and back into their own sensor to measure distance. Those with a Qwiic connection are easily installed using Qwiic cords.
Laser modules quickly and accurately detect objects up to 40 meters away. Choose them to measure the distance of fast-moving objects.
Modules with I2C protocol make setup and data collection simple. They convert readings into an electrical signal to transmit to your board.
