Use these sleeves alone or with gloves to protect your arms when handling sharp objects. All meet the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, which designates levels of cut resistance based on the force needed to cut through the material of the sleeve using a razor blade.
Kevlar aramid sleeves absorb moisture.
Dyneema sleeves are thinner, more breathable, and more form fitting than Kevlar sleeves.
Spectra/stainless steel sleeves are the most durable cut-resistant sleeves.
Polyester sleeves reduce the risk of cuts as well as punctures when handling sharp and pointed objects.
Use sleeves with knit cuffs for a secure fit. Sleeves with open cuffs are more convenient to put on and take off than other sleeves.
