Electric Circular Saws for Metal

Make long, straight cuts into steel sheets, structural framing, and other metal components. These handheld saws are good for longer cuts than chop saws. At a low speed, they’ll cut without burrs or excessive heat—no coolant required. They’ll also produce fewer sparks than saws with abrasive wheels. To keep your workspace clean, all can either blow metal chips out of the way or collect them during cutting.
Evolution and Fein 6 99 08 120 00 1 saws have a high-torque motor that powers the blade more efficiently than our other saws. This makes them the best choice for cutting hard, thick metal.
Saws with a brake stop rotating soon after you release the trigger, so you can quickly reposition your workpiece and make the next cut.

Electric Bench-Top Cutoff Saws

Use an abrasive wheel with these saws for general purpose cutting jobs. You can cut steel square structural tubing, aluminum conduit, and other hard materials.
Saws with a quick-release vise adjust easily—just flip a lever then slide the vise jaw open or closed. With a tool-free wheel change, you release the wheel by turning the clamp that holds it in place.

Heavy Duty Electric Floor Cutoff Saws

The motor in these saws puts out higher torque than standard floor cutoff saws, so they slice through angle iron, tool steel, and other thick, hard materials. They can also run continuously for longer than standard floor cutoff saws. With a strong base made from steel, these saws are designed to hold up in rugged environments like foundries and metal fabrication plants. They’re great for sawing through metal bars and pipes, cutting tool steel rods to length, and trimming down raw stock before milling it in a CNC machine. Use with abrasive wheels (not included). These saws must be hardwired.

Electric Miter Saws
Often used to create door frames and aluminum supports, these saws make precise angled cuts for tight-fitting joints. The head swivels to make miter cuts across the face of your material.
Style A saws have a tilting head that makes beveled cuts through the thickness of your material. Use these saws on wood and soft metals such as aluminum and copper.
Style B saws cut harder metals than Style A saws—and they do so without coolant or excessive heat, which can warp your workpiece. By running at slower speeds than all of our other miter saws, they handle steel, stainless steel, and other hard metals, as well as soft metals, such as aluminum. Compared to saws with abrasive wheels, they cut more quickly and create fewer sparks.

Make angled cuts in material that’s too wide for a standard miter saw—the arm on these saws slides for added reach. Swivel the head to make miter cuts across the width of your workpiece. For bevel cuts downward through your material, tilt the blade. While primarily used to cross-cut wood, these saws can also handle metal and other materials.
