High-Temperature Wire
- Use for ovens and furnaces
- Fiberglass Fabric Outer Insulation: Flexible
Ceramic Fabric Outer Insulation: Bend and Stay - Temperature Range: See table
Even at 480° F—hotter than some industrial ovens—this wire’s insulation won’t melt.
Wire with a fiberglass outer and mica inner insulation is the common choice for steel mills, iron mills, and glass manufacturing. You may know it as MG wire. Wire with a silicone-coated outer insulation shields your skin from fiberglass particles when handling the wire.
Wire with a fiberglass outer and PTFE inner insulation won’t corrode from moisture, so it’s often used in industrial drying equipment. It also won’t become brittle or crack from chemicals. This wire is commonly known as TGGT wire.
Wire with a ceramic fabric outer insulation withstands the hottest temperatures of our offering, so you can safely run it near open flames. It’s flame rated VW-1 to prevent the spread of fire. This wire won’t become brittle or crack from chemicals. Bend it and it stays in place.

High-Temperature Cable
The insulation on this cable withstands high-heat applications such as ovens and furnaces. The wires are silver or nickel plated for corrosion resistance.
Use unshielded cable in applications where signal interference is not a concern. It has a layer of fiberglass fabric and mica tape around each wire. The entire cable is wrapped in a layer of fiberglass fabric and mica tape, and then covered in PTFE. The PTFE outer insulation resists chemicals, oil, abrasion, and moisture.
Shielded cable has a layer of braid that blocks signal interference from nearby equipment and devices. It has PTFE outer and inner insulation that resists chemicals, oil, abrasion, and moisture.

High-Temperature Continuous-Flex Cable
- Use For: Automation, Continuous Motion, Ovens and Furnaces
- Continuous Flex
- Temperature Range: -10° to 350° F
- Insulation:
Outer: Silicone Rubber
Inner: FEP Plastic
Bend and flex this silicone-insulated cable in temperatures up to 350° F. It can keep moving in areas twice as hot as most other continuous-flex cables without degrading data or signal transmission. It’s often used inside cable carriers in feeding lines for blast furnaces or in automated welding and cutting systems. This cable resists abrasion and won’t break down from exposure to chemicals and UV light. It meets IEC standards for flame retardance.
Bend radius is the point to which the cable will bend without being damaged. It is measured from the center of the bend to the edge of the cable. The smaller the measurement, the tighter the bend.

Multipurpose 400 Nickel Wire
- Temper Rating: Softened (Annealed)
- Tensile Strength: 70,000 psi
- Specifications Met: ASTM B164
Bend this wire and it will stay in place. It is often used as safety lock wire. From marine hardware to chemical-processing equipment, 400 nickel is widely used for its strength, weldability, and formability. Comparable to Monel, this nickel-copper alloy will stand up to highly corrosive environments, such as those involving salt water, sulfuric acid, and alkalies.

Ultra-High-Temperature Niobium Wire
- Hardness: Rockwell B70 (Medium)
This niobium wire has a higher melting point than most other metal, so it’s also known as refractory metal. It's highly conductive, corrosion resistant, and maintains its strength even at high temperatures. At low temperatures, it becomes a superconductor. This wire holds up in a variety of tough conditions including jet engines, pipelines, and semiconductor manufacturing.
