    Sash Chain

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Chain. Sash Chain.
This chain is perfect for operating any small pulley system. Traditionally used to raise and lower window sashes, the flat, compact links fold back on themselves to fit around chain wheels in tight spaces. The wider links can also move heavier objects than plumbers' chain.
    Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
Steel—Best for dry environments since moisture will cause this chain to rust.
Zinc-Plated Steel—A common and economical choice, the zinc plating resists occasional moisture.
Copper-Plated Steel—An economic alternative to brass and bronze sash chain. It resists corrosion, but will develop a green patina over time.
Corrosion-Resistant 430 Stainless Steel—An economical alternative to 304 stainless steel, it's ideal in environments with less frequent exposure to moisture.
Corrosion-Resistant 302-304 Stainless Steel—Won't rust in wet environments, but corrodes when exposed to salt water and chemicals.
Brass—With a shiny gold finish, brass is also more durable than plated steel and won't rust in wet environments.
Bronze—More durable than plated steel and won't corrode when exposed to salt water and chemicals.
