Tight-Hold Recessed Ring-Handle Keyed Cam Locks
Fold the ring handle into the recess to stay out of the way when not in use. It lays flat so you won’t bump into these latches or catch clothes on them. The latches project further into enclosures than other latches without a recess. To open them, pull the ring with your finger. Turn the head a quarter turn to lock, then push it down to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration.
Also known as compression cam latches, these latches create a tighter hold than traditional cam latches, making them useful for doors that have a seal. A gasket helps keep low-pressure washdowns and dust from entering through the latch. This helps you maintain your sealed enclosure's IP or NEMA rating. Made of stainless steel, these latches won’t rust in areas that are constantly exposed to moisture. Choose them if you need locks that each open with a different key.
All of these latches include multiple cams with an adjustable latching distance. They handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for tasks when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before you begin to install them. The latch installation hole can be made with a round hole instead of the irregularly shaped standard cam hole. This is especially helpful if the material of the door is difficult to cut or part of an existing structure.

Tight-Hold Hex-Drive Recessed T-Handle Cam Locks
When not in use, fold the handle into the recess to keep it out of the way. It lays flat so you won’t bump into these locks or catch clothes on them. The locks project further into enclosures than other locks without a recess. To open them, pull the handle with your fingers. Turn the head a quarter turn to lock, then push the handle down into the recess to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration.
Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than traditional cam locks, making them useful for doors that have a seal. They open with a hex key and are great if you want to secure an enclosure with a simple keying system. Made of stainless steel, the locks won’t rust in areas that are constantly exposed to moisture.
These locks include a cam with an adjustable latching distance. They handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for tasks when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before you begin to install them. The lock installation hole can be made with a round hole instead of the irregularly shaped standard cam hole. This is especially helpful if the material of the door is difficult to cut or part of an existing structure.

Lift-and-Turn Tight-Hold Recessed T-Handle Keyed Alike Cam Locks
For a secure hold, lift the handle, turn it a quarter-turn to close, and then push it down into the recess to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration. Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than traditional cam locks, making them useful for doors that have a seal. The handle lays flat and out of the way in the recess, so you won’t bump into these locks or catch clothes on them. However, the locks project further into enclosures than other locks without a recess. Choose them if you need several locks that open with the same key.
These locks include multiple cams with an adjustable latching distance. They handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for tasks when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before you begin to install them.
Aluminum locks are less corrosion resistant than stainless steel, but they are lighter in weight.

Recessed T-Handle Cam Latches
The T-handle lays flush in the recess, so you won’t bump into or catch your clothes on these latches. Also called quarter-turn latches, they have a cam that rotates 90° to secure enclosures. The cam has an adjustable latching distance, making these latches best for jobs when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the cam’s position before installing. You can install these latches in a round hole instead of the irregularly shaped standard cam hole. This is helpful if your panel is difficult to cut or part of an existing structure. Made of 316 stainless steel, they resist rusting if rinsed or wiped with cleaning solutions.

Aluminum latches are lighter in weight then stainless steel latches, but not as corrosion resistant.
Use stainless steel latches in areas that are constantly exposed to moisture since they resist corrosion better than aluminum latches .
For Style B latches, the installation hole can be made with a round hole instead of the irregularly shaped standard cam hole. This is especially helpful if the material of the door is difficult to cut or part of an existing structure.
