Large-Capacity Economy Electronic Calipers
Deep jaws and extra-long measuring ranges make measuring large material easier. Zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, retains the measuring position when the caliper is turned off. A zero-set button allows you to start measuring at any point.
Calipers with SPC data output transmit data to your PC. Those with a USB connection require a USB data cable (sold separately). Calipers with a carbon fiber beam are lighter than stainless steel calipers. Rated IP65, they’ll stay protected in machining conditions with dust and spraying water or coolant.

IP65 rated for protection from dust and water jets. These micrometers have zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, which retains the measuring position when the micrometer is turned off. A zero-set button allows you to start measuring at any point.
All micrometers have thimbles with a constant-force mechanism, so that once the spindle contacts the surface of the measured object, it will stop tightening. This ensures repeatable measurements and prevents over-tightening.
Friction thimbles continue to turn with resistance when the micrometer’s spindle stops tightening.
Ratchet thimbles have a speeder knob to reduce the time it takes to open and close the micrometer. When the spindle stops tightening, the thimble will continue turning with a clicking sound.

On micrometers with a friction thimble, the thimble continues to turn with resistance when the spindle stops tightening. These micrometers have one digital display on each side, so they can be read in four different directions. They’re good for left-handed users and for measuring items that are only accessible from above.

Coolant-Resistant Economy Electronic Outside Micrometers
Take measurements in dirty machining environments—these micrometers are rated IP65, so they seal out coolant, water, and dust. They have zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, so they stay in the same measuring position after the indicator is turned off. Press the zero-set button to start measuring at any point.
These micrometers have a speeder knob that reduces the time it takes to open and close around your part. To prevent overtightening and ensure repeatable measurements, they have a ratchet-stop thimble that stops the spindle from turning once it reaches your part. You'll still be able to turn the speeder knob, but it will click instead of tighten.
Connect a USB cable (sold separately) between the micrometer and your PC. Press the SPC data output button to transfer your measurement data.

Mitutoyo Electronic Outside Micrometer Sets
A screen makes measurements easy to read. The micrometers in these sets have a speeder knob that reduces the time it takes to open and close around your part. To prevent overtightening, they have a ratchet-stop thimble that keeps the spindle from turning once it reaches your part. You'll still be able to turn the speeder knob, but it will click instead of tighten. Use them in machine shops where it’s dusty, wet, or exposed to coolant because they’re IP65 rated.
All have zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, which retains the measuring position when the micrometer is off. A zero-set button lets you start measuring at any point.

Easily read measurements displayed on the screen. The micrometers in these sets have ratchet thimbles, which continue turning with an audible clicking sound once the spindle reaches your part. This prevents over-tightening. They also have a speeder knob to reduce the time it takes to open and close the micrometer. Use them in machine shops where it’s dusty, wet, or exposed to coolant because they’re IP rated.

Electronic Wide-Range Outside Micrometers with Calibration Certificate
These micrometers come with a calibration certificate traceable to NIST that states they've passed a test for accuracy. Interchangeable anvils of varying lengths give them a wide measuring range. All are IP65 rated for protection from dust and water jets.
Each micrometer has a ratchet-stop thimble with a speeder knob to reduce the time it takes to open and close the micrometer. The thimble also has a constant-force mechanism, so that once the spindle contacts the surface of the measured object, it will stop tightening. This ensures repeatable measurements and prevents over-tightening. When the spindle stops tightening, the thimble stops turning, but the speeder knob will continue turning with a clicking sound.
Zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, retains the measuring position when the micrometer is turned off. A zero-set button lets you start measuring at any point. SPC data output allows for connection to a computer or data processor.

Electronic Wide-Range Outside Micrometers
Interchangeable anvils of varying lengths give these micrometers a wide measuring range. They are IP65 rated for protection from dust and water jets. All have a ratchet-stop thimble with a speeder knob to reduce the time it takes to open and close the micrometer.
Micrometers rated IP65 stay protected in machining conditions with dust and spraying water or coolant.

Outside Micrometers with Calibration Certificate
This micrometer comes with a calibration certificate traceable to NIST that states it has passed a test for accuracy. It is IP65 rated for protection from dust and water jets. An extra-deep throat gives you a long reach for measuring sheet metal and other large items.
The micrometer’s ratchet-stop thimble has a speeder knob to reduce the time it takes to open and close the micrometer. It also has a constant-force mechanism, so that once the spindle contacts the surface of the measured object, it will stop tightening. Electronic Outside Micrometers for Pipe, Tubing, and Flat Surfaces
Swap out the anvil on these micrometers for a better fit on curved and flat parts. Use the rounded anvil to measure the wall thickness of curved surfaces, such as pipe and tubing. Use the flat anvil to measure flat surfaces. These micrometers show measurements on an easy-to-read LCD screen. They have a friction thimble with a constant-force mechanism, so they stop tightening once the spindle touches the surface you’re measuring. This ensures repeatable measurements and prevents overtightening. Once the spindle stops tightening, the thimble continues turning with resistance.
All have zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, which retains the measuring position when the indicator is off. A zero-set button lets you start measuring at any point. Since they have an SPC data output, you can connect them to your computer or data processor. IP rated, these micrometers protect against the dust, water, and coolant common in machine shops.
All accessories are sold separately.

Outside Micrometers for Tolerance Checking
Confirm a part is within your set tolerance. Set your minimum and maximum tolerance to quickly check where your part falls. They have a plain thimble that turns freely without friction or a stopping device. These micrometers rely on operator feel for accurate measurements.
Mitutoyo 523 series micrometers have tolerance pointers on the dial gage, so you can set your minimum and maximum tolerance.
