Mitutoyo Electronic Outside Micrometer Sets

A screen makes measurements easy to read. The micrometers in these sets have a speeder knob that reduces the time it takes to open and close around your part. To prevent overtightening, they have a ratchet-stop thimble that keeps the spindle from turning once it reaches your part. You'll still be able to turn the speeder knob, but it will click instead of tighten. Use them in machine shops where it’s dusty, wet, or exposed to coolant because they’re IP65 rated.

All have zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, which retains the measuring position when the micrometer is off. A zero-set button lets you start measuring at any point.

Micrometers with different measuring ranges come in each set. Each micrometer has a ratchet-stop thimble with a speeder knob to reduce the time it takes to open and close the micrometer. A constant-force mechanism stops the micrometer’s spindle from tightening once it contacts the surface of the measured object. This ensures repeatable measurements and prevents over-tightening. When the spindle stops tightening, the thimble stops turning, but the speeder knob will continue turning with a clicking sound.
