Heated Plastic Pails
Keep liquids in these pails from freezing without a separate heater. Plug them in and they're ready to go—a built-in thermostat turns them on when temperatures drop below 35° F and turns them off at a set temperature. Glance at the graduation marks etched on the inside wall to see how much material is in these pails. The power cord is wrapped in a metal sheath to protect it from rubbing and scraping.

Safety Disposal Cans for Flammable Liquids
Store leftover hazardous liquids until they can be properly discarded. The spring-loaded, self-closing cap on these cans automatically vents to relieve excess vapor pressure, and a flame arrester protects against outside ignition.
Plastic cans are for aggressive chemicals and corrosives.
Waste Containers for Sharp Objects
Dispose of razor blades and other sharp objects with these single-use, sealable containers. They are also known as sharps containers and are puncture resistant. Not for landfill disposal.
Biohazard containers can also be used for needles.
Styles D-F are leak resistant. The exterior can be sterilized with steam.

Safety Containers for Oily Waste
For temporary storage of oil- and solvent-soaked towels and brushes, these containers protect flammable contents from potential fire sources and spontaneous combustion.
Safety Cans
Also known as Type I safety cans, these have a single opening for both filling and pouring. Safety cans are a safer choice than fuel cans for storing flammable liquids. They have a spring-loaded, self-closing lid; pressure-relief cap; and a flame arrester.
Powder-coated steel cans are for petroleum-based liquids. Color-coding typically indicates usage: red for gasoline, yellow for diesel, blue for kerosene, and green for other liquids.
Safety Cans with Built-In Spout
Also known as Type II safety cans, these have two openings—one for filling, one for pouring. Safety cans are a safer choice than fuel cans for storing flammable liquids. They have a spring-loaded, self-closing lid; pressure-relief cap; flame arrester; and a vacuum-release valve for controlled pouring.
Color-coding typically indicates usage: red for gasoline, yellow for diesel, blue for kerosene, and green for other liquids.
Style C have a rotating spout that flips down for pouring and up for storage.
