High-Flow Air-Driven On/Off Valves
Also known as actuated ball valves, these provide higher flow rates than other air-driven valves. They operate on compressed air to automatically start and stop flow faster than motor-driven valves. You must control the air to the actuator using either the included electric pilot valve or a manual on/off valve (not included).
Single-acting actuators only require air pressure to open the valve; they automatically spring closed when the air turns off. These valves are normally closed unless actuated. Double-acting actuators require air pressure to open and close the valve. Once actuated, these valves remain actuated until air pressure is applied, so they do not have a valve starting position.
Nickel-plated brass valves are more corrosion resistant than plain brass valves. Pressure drop assisted valves require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and the outlet for operation; the upstream pressure must be greater than the downstream pressure.
Direct-mount actuators are directly attached to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear.
Full-port valves do not restrict flow. IP66 valves resist dust and high-pressure jets of water. NEMA 4 valves resist washdowns, splashing water, and dust.
Valves with a visual flow indicator on the top of the actuator show whether the valve is open or closed.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Versa-Mount Air-Driven On/Off Valves
Also known as piston valves, these have a compact, lightweight actuator and an angular body designed for installation in any mounting orientation. They operate on compressed air to automatically start and stop flow. You must control the air to the actuator using either an electric pilot valve (included when listed) or a manual on/off valve (not included).
Valves have a single-acting actuator that only requires air pressure to actuate the valve; they automatically return to the valve starting position when the air turns off. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear.
Normally closed valves are closed unless actuated. Normally open valves are open unless actuated.
Zero pressure drop valves don’t require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

- Seal Material: See Table
- Specifications Met:
Bronze Body: ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class IV
316 Stainless Steel Body: ASME B16.34, ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class IV
Also known as diaphragm valves, these have a diaphragm that can handle dirty liquid, slurries, and abrasive media without damage. They operate on compressed air to automatically start and stop flow. You must control the air to the actuator using either an electric pilot valve (not included) or a manual on/off valve (not included). Valves don’t require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. All meet ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class IV for tight shutoff and have a leakage rate of less than 0.01%.
All valves have a single-acting actuator that only requires air pressure to actuate the valve; they automatically return to the valve starting position when the air turns off. The actuator is secured to the valve body with a bracket for easy disassembly, maintenance, and repair. These valves are normally closed unless actuated.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Compact Severe-Duty Air-Driven On/Off Valves

- Valve Type: Diaphragm
- For Use With: Water, Oil, Air, Argon, Helium, Krypton, Neon, Xenon
- Seal Material : 303 Stainless Steel
Less than half the height of standard severe-duty valves, these fit in small spaces and low-clearance pipelines. They have a diaphragm that can handle dirty liquid, slurries, and abrasive media without damage. All operate on compressed air to automatically start and stop flow. You must control the air to the actuator using either an electric pilot valve (not included) or a manual on/off valve (not included). Valves require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and the outlet for operation; the upstream pressure must be greater than the downstream pressure.
All valves have a single-acting actuator that only requires air pressure to actuate the valve; they automatically return to the valve starting position when the air turns off. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear.
Normally closed valves are closed unless actuated. Normally open valves are open unless actuated.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Threaded Air-Driven Diverting Valves

- Valve Type: Ball
- For Use With: Air, Argon, Helium, Krypton, Neon, Oil, Steam, Water, Xenon
- Seal Material: PTFE Plastic
- Specifications Met: C-UL Listed, UL Listed
To divert flow between ports more quickly than motor-driven valves, these operate on compressed air. You must control the air to the actuator using either the included electric pilot valve or a manual on/off valve (not included). Valves don’t require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and wear. Valves are standard port, so they slightly restrict flow.
Air-to-divert/air-to-return valves require air pressure to divert flow to the right-port outlet and air pressure to return flow to the left-port outlet.
Air-to-divert/spring-return valves require air pressure to divert flow to the right-port outlet. They automatically return flow to the left-port outlet when the air turns off to ensure the valve only diverts flow to the right port when air is on.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Air-Operated Air On/Off Valves

Also known as blocking valves, these valves are activated by an air signal to turn equipment on and off. They allow airflow when an air signal is applied to the air pilot. When the air supply is removed, the valve closes, trapping air in the system.
Valves with push-to-connect ports are for use with plastic or soft metal tubing. Insert tubing into the port.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is a measurement that indicates how much airflow can pass through a valve. When selecting between valves with the same port size, choose the valve with the higher flow coefficient to ensure it provides enough airflow to operate your system.

Made-to-Order Air-Operated Air-Exhaust Control Valves

When these valves receive an air signal, they quickly dump exhaust air to the atmosphere without routing it back through a directional control valve to speed up the movement of equipment. They're often used with air compressors that require continuous operation. A muffler reduces exhaust noise. Also known as quick exhaust valves.
To Order: Specify minimum pressure and maximum pressure from the ranges listed. The difference between the minimum pressure and maximum pressure must be at least 10 psi, but no more than 30 psi.
