Hinge Screws
Commonly used with door hinge hardware, these screws cut threads in soft material such as aluminum and brass. They're beveled under the head for use in countersunk holes. They are undercut to allow more threading. Screws cut threads in drilled holes as they’re turned, so they require less driving torque and cause less stress on your material than thread forming screws. Length is measured from the top of the head.
Brass, bronze, and chrome-plated steel screws have a bright and attractive finish. They're corrosion resistant in wet environments.
