Cool-Sanding Backup Pads for Arbor-Mount Sanding Discs


These pads are designed to channel air flow to the sanding disc for cooler operation, prolonging the life of the disc. Install the backup pad onto the tool’s arbor, then attach a sanding disc and secure with a disc nut.
Style A comes with a separate plate which has a hole pattern to allow air flow.
Style B have spiral ribs which form air-flow channels. Disc nuts are sold separately.

With a free-spinning hub, these pads rotate independently while their raised ribs graze the back of the disc to clear debris and prolong the disc's life. Mount the backup pad to your tool’s arbor, then attach the sanding disc and secure with a nut.
Pads for 7" and 9" disc diameter have a scalloped edge that applies less pressure on the work surface, reducing operator effort.

Cushioned Hook and Loop Sanding Discs




Thread one of these pads onto the tool's arbor. Once the pad is secured, you can quickly attach, remove, and reuse hook and loop sanding discs.
Hard-density pads are best for aggressive cutting on flat surfaces.
Soft-density pads have a thicker layer of foam than hard-density pads, which conforms to contoured surfaces. They're also great for finishing work.
