Static-Control Shop and Lab Coats

Protect sensitive equipment from damage and malfunction—these coats quickly drain static electricity. Surface resistivity of unlaundered fabric is 10⁶ ohms. These coats are made of a durable cotton/polyester blend to protect against wear and abrasion in workshops and labs. They have snaps down the front and adjustable snaps on the cuffs. Cuff snaps may also be attached to a grounding point. They are knee length with one chest pocket and two waist pockets.

When measuring chest size, measure around the fullest part of your chest. Take all measurements over clothing you expect to wear under the coat.

Static-Control Shirts

Prevent static electricity on your clothes from damaging sensitive equipment. With a carbon fiber fabric woven in, these shirts dissipate static. They're made primarily of polyester, so they easily slip over other PPE clothing.

Clean Room Coats

Create a barrier between you and your clean room. These coats keep dust, microbes, and other pollutants that might be on your body from contaminating the area. Reusable when washed according to clean room standards, they’ll last up to 100 washes. Make sure to wash them before your first wear. They are suitable for use in clean rooms rated to both Federal Standard and ISO classes. In both systems, clean rooms with lower class ratings have fewer contaminants. Coats are knee length.

Polyester/carbon fiber fabric blend discharges static electricity to protect sensitive electronic equipment, such as semiconductors and spacecraft components.

Cold-Protection Aprons

Aramid/Cotton/Nylon

Also known as cryogenic aprons, these aprons protect against extremely cold materials as low as -320° F, such as liquid nitrogen and dry ice. They have a waterproof shell that repels splashes. Adjust the fit with straps at the neck and waist—each has a buckle for quick removal. The heavier the apron, the more durable it is, but lighter aprons are more comfortable to wear for long periods.

Aramid/cotton/nylon blend aprons are flame resistant, so they’ll protect you if liquid oxygen or other cryogenic materials catch fire. Static-control strips line the inside of the apron to reduce the risk of sparks from static electricity buildup.

Aprons that cannot be sold to the areas listed are restricted due to PFAS regulations.
