Proportional Temperature Controllers
Cycle heaters on and off intermittently to maintain a set temperature in your system. These proportional controllers keep your heater on when your system is below the set temperature, and they turn it off in short cycles when your system nears the set temperature. The short cycles make them more precise and allow less temperature fluctuation than on/off controllers. Use them on electric heaters only—they don't work with valves or solenoids.
Turn the dial on these controllers to choose your set temperature. They use a highly sensitive thermocouple probe (not included) to read temperature. Their mechanical relay actuates circuits directly. All are SPDT (single pole, double throw) and can turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or on to off (normally closed). Install these controllers into instrument panels with DIN cutouts.
All controllers meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.
To mount 1/16 DIN controllers to a surface or DIN rail, add DIN-rail/surface-mount adapters. To convert larger cutouts to fit 1/16 DIN controllers, add DIN cutout adapters.

DIN-Rail-Mount Autotuning Temperature Controllers

Mount these temperature controllers directly onto DIN rail for controlling systems with rapid, unpredictable, or complex temperature changes. They turn heating equipment on and off using a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control algorithm to make fine adjustments, giving you the most precise and stable temperature control. All work similarly to proportional controllers but gather more variables to calculate the most effective way to return to the target temperature and avoid overshooting. They also have fuzzy logic to learn your system's behavior and compensate as needed. Use the autotuning function to have the controller cycle and identify the ideal PID variables for your system. These controllers read temperature with a highly sensitive thermocouple or RTD probe (both not included) in critical process applications. Since they reset automatically, they switch off and on again as the temperature fluctuates. Use the keypad to adjust the actuation point, reset point, and other settings.
All meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.
Analog signal outputs are typically used with SRC (silicon controlled rectifier) power controllers (not included) for some of the highest precision control.

On/Off Temperature Controllers
The simplest temperature controllers—they turn devices fully on or off, with no middle state, at a given temperature. They’re best as alarms and for systems where temperature changes slowly, but they shouldn’t be used when precise temperature control is necessary. All automatically reset as the temperature fluctuates. To read the temperature, they use a highly sensitive thermocouple probe (not included). And their mechanical relay actuates circuits directly. Controllers are SPDT (single pole, double throw) and can turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or on to off (normally closed). Mount them into cutouts in instrument panels.
All meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.
Controllers with a dial let you change the temperature actuation point with a turn. They fit into panels with 1/16 DIN cutouts. To mount them to a surface or DIN rail, add DIN-rail/surface-mount adapters. To convert larger cutouts to fit these controllers, use DIN cutout adapters.
Controllers with a keypad let you quickly adjust the temperature actuation point, reset point, and other settings.
IP64 rated controllers protect against dust and splashing water.

Tamper-Resistant Line-Voltage Thermostats

A built-in guard prevents accidental changes and other tampering and protects these thermostats from damage. These thermostats regulate the temperature in HVAC systems that use direct electrical power. They’re often used with baseboard and wall heaters.
DPST (double pole, single throw) thermostats control two circuits, so they have an “off” setting that cuts power to the thermostat. As a result, they’re more energy efficient and slightly safer than SPST (single pole, single throw) thermostats, which stay at a low setting instead of turning off completely.
