Reinforcing Fabric Grommets
These grommets handle thick materials and strain from fabric that’s frequently pulled or stretched. Strike a cutting punch with a mallet to create the hole, then set the grommet using either an installation punch or a press. Installation tools are sold separately.

An extended neck gives these washers a stronger hold than our other fabric grommets.
Brass—Add a bright finish to your fabric.
Nickel-Plated Brass—The nickel gives these a more muted, silvery look than our other brass grommets.

A few sharp taps on the punch cinch the grommet in the hole. Use a rubber or rawhide mallet rather than a metal hammer to preserve the head of the punch.

Teeth grip the fabric for an even stronger hold than other reinforcing fabric grommets. Use these washers for fabric under the highest strain, such as a tarp secured by bungee cords.
