Easy-to-Form Pure 1000 Series Aluminum Sheets and Bars
Made of 1000 series aluminum which is 99% pure, this aluminum offers superior formability, corrosion resistance, and electrical conductivity. It's frequently fabricated into raceways, decorative trim, and other parts where strength and hardness are not required. These temper O foil, sheets, and bars are annealed to the softest state possible, which is sometimes called “dead soft.”

Hardened Easy-to-Form Pure 1100 Aluminum Sheets

These sheets are tempered to a 1/2-hard or full-hard state to make them over twice as strong as standard 1100 aluminum. Because 1100 aluminum is 99% pure, it offers superior corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity.
Temper H19 foil is often used as EMI/RFI shielding in electronic applications.
Temper H14 sheets are used for heat exchangers, chemical equipment, and decorative trim.

Contaminant-Free High-Vacuum Aluminum Foil

- Yield Strength: 14,000 psi
- Hardness: Not Rated
- Temper: O
- Fabrication: Cold Rolled
- Specifications Met: ASTM B479, Fed. Spec. QQ-A-1876
Use this foil as a blanket to disperse heat evenly in high-vacuum systems, as well as in clean rooms and other controlled environments where dust and oil could jeopardize a system. It is “A” wettable, so it's completely free of the oils found on other types aluminum foil. Supplied on a plastic core, it comes wrapped in plastic and packed in a plastic box to ensure it stays free of contaminants. Often called UHV (ultra-high vacuum) foil, it is 1100 aluminum, which is highly corrosion resistant and very formable.

Shim Stock Sets

Keep shim stock in a variety of thicknesses on hand with these sets. Cut it into custom shapes to fit your application.
For accurate leveling, choose materials such as steel or stainless steel, which are hard enough to resist scratching and deforming. Softer shims, like copper or aluminum, can be used as wear plates between components that rub together, preventing damage to equipment.
Aluminum shim stock is lightweight and nonmagnetic. It has good corrosion resistance.

Peel-Away Layered Shim Stock

Cut this shim stock it into custom shapes to fit your application. Stock is made of layers of material bonded with adhesive; remove layers with a utility knife until you get the thickness you need. To make the layers easier to pull apart, gently heat the shim to soften the adhesive.
For accurate leveling, choose materials such as steel or stainless steel, which are hard enough to resist scratching and deforming. Softer shims, like copper or aluminum, can be used as wear plates between components that rub together, preventing damage to equipment.

Expanded panels are more rigid than perforated panels and are for use when structural stability is important. They can be formed and welded; however, they are more difficult to cut than perforated panels. Flattened panels begin as raised panels, then they're rolled to a smooth and flat finish. Use them to create protective enclosures, shelving, grilles, and baskets.
1100 aluminum is about half the weight of steel and resists corrosion in wet environments.
