If your door requires more than one hinge, only one needs to have a safety switch; use hinges without a safety switch for the rest. Make sure to mount the safety switch on the rail that won't be moving.

T-Slotted Framing Pivots

Pivots provide smooth motion at the junction between two T-slotted rails.

Heavy duty pivots have bearings for a longer life than standard pivots. Those with ball bearings are load rated.

Inline/perpendicular pivots provide versatile mounting options. For perpendicular mounting, snap the tabs of the bottom of the pivot with a slotted screwdriver. To install on the end of the rail, tap the end of the rail and align the tabs on the bottom of the pivot with the slot on the rail. Locking inline/perpendicular pivots have a handle that locks in place to position parts or hold doors and lids open.

360° rotation pivots move at any angle adjacent to the rail they are connected to.
