Pulley Aligning Lasers
Check that your pulley, gear, or sprocket system is properly aligned. These magnetic lasers stick to equipment made of steel. Project the laser beam down your belt or chain and look to see how it hits the target—you can determine angular and offset misalignment at the same time. The target has a machined surface that sits parallel to the contact surface for precise alignment. Adjust your setup until the laser line overlaps with the reference line on the target. These lasers are portable and battery powered, so they’re easy to use in spaces without outlets.
Red lasers are best for indoor environments, since they’re dimmer than green lasers.
Green lasers appear up to 10 times brighter than red lasers, so they’re easier to see outdoors or in bright indoor lighting, as well as from far away.
Lasers with one adjustable target have a single laser line that indicates offset and angular misalignment. A mirror on the target reflects the laser back to the transmitter’s reference line to show misalignment. No need to fuss with the traditional multi-target method.
Lasers with a built-in LED flashlight provide light in dim areas.

Roller Aligning Lasers
These lasers take aligning rollers from the traditional multi-tool, multi-person job to a one-tool, one-person job. Strap the transmitter to the roller you want to match and the receiver to the roller you want to check. Instead of aligning with lots of trial and error, these tools have a horizontal beam that shows if your rollers are aligned in the same plane, and a vertical beam that shows if the rollers are evenly spaced along their length. Simply adjust the roller until the beams line up with the tools' reference points.
In addition to being easy to use, these lasers were also designed to be useful in most roller setups. The adjustable straps allow you to secure them to different roller sizes and materials. They're also compact enough to fit in tight spaces between rollers.

360° Sweeping-Line Automatic Leveling Lasers
Set these lasers on any surface and they’ll level themselves horizontally within about 4°. They emit a beam of light 360° around the base, so you won’t have to keep repositioning them as you move around a space. Use them to align machinery, install conveyors, and check if walls are plumb. Visual and audible alarms alert you when the laser is beyond its leveling range. Adjust their vertical position manually. Mount these lasers to a tripod (not included) to level at a greater range of heights.
Red lasers are best viewed indoors. They include a laser detector, which indicates the height of the laser’s beam when you can’t see it, such as in bright lighting or at long distances.
Green lasers are four times brighter than red lasers, so you can see the beam outdoors and in bright lighting. They’re also easier to spot from far away. These lasers include a magnetic target, which you can mount at the height you need to reflect the beam, making it brighter and easier to see from a distance.

Combination Crosshair Line and Multiple Dot Automatic Leveling Lasers
Level equipment with confidence—in addition to a crosshair, these lasers also project plumb dots, so you know the laser is in the right spot. They’re an upgrade from a standard crosshair laser while remaining simpler than lasers with multiple crosshairs. Use these lasers to precisely install square elements, such as doors and windows. The crosshair extends along your wall, so you don’t have to reposition the laser often as you work around your room. If you set them on a surface, these lasers level themselves within about 4° and indicate when they are out of level. You can turn this function off when you want to make sure your crosshair is level with something other than the Earth.
Secure them to a tripod using the threaded mount or use the strong magnetic base to attach them to equipment. They come with a magnetic target, which you can mount in your space to reflect the laser beam to increase its visibility in dim conditions and at far distances.
Levels with two laser dots help you verify your installation is plumb with reference points above and below the tool. These red lasers are best for indoor environments, since they’re dimmer than green lasers.
Levels with five laser dots help you verify that your tool is positioned correctly in multiple dimensions with reference points above, below, behind, and to the sides of the tool without repositioning your laser. These green lasers appear up to 10 times brighter than red lasers, so they’re easier to see outdoors or in bright indoor lighting, as well as from far away.

You can mount them to rotating equipment without worrying about power cords. The beam splitter converts one dot into two dots that are set at a 90° angle. Use the leveling plate to steady lasers on uneven surfaces or to mount them to a tripod. These plates have three adjustable legs that stabilize the laser.
Red lasers are best used indoors, since they’re dimmer than green lasers. Green lasers appear up to 20 times brighter than red lasers, so they’re visible outdoors and in bright lighting. They’re also easy to see from far away.
Dot-to-line converters change the dot into a vertical or horizontal line.
