Double-Acting Round Body Air Cylinders
Push and pull light duty loads. These air cylinders use compressed air to both extend and retract, so they operate at nearly full force in either direction. They have a round body—the most common style of air cylinder—making them more compact and better suited for tight spaces than cylinders with external tie rods.
Universal-mount cylinders have mounting threads on both ends. The back end has a pivot bushing, which allows for more mounting options than nose-mount cylinders. Nose-mount cylinders only have mounting threads on the front end, so they’re shorter than universal-mount cylinders.
Sensor-ready cylinders have a magnetic piston that can activate relays and controllers when used with a sensor (sold separately). When the piston moves past the sensor, the sensor activates. You can use multiple sensors—attach one for each action to trigger.
Cylinders with an adjustable cushion absorb piston impact to minimize wear and noise. Turn the screws to adjust the level of cushioning.

Enclosed-Body NFPA Air Cylinders
An extruded-aluminum body means these cylinders have no open spaces for debris to collect. They have an NFPA (National Fluid Power Association) or ISO industry-standard footprint for easy interchangeability. They’re cushioned to absorb piston impact to minimize wear and noise—cylinders have a screw at each port so you can adjust the amount of cushion. Clean Room Flexible-Mount Air Cylinders
Mount these cylinders directly to equipment in environments where contamination is a concern, such as electronics manufacturing. Use the threaded through-holes on the face to connect to equipment, or mount them with attachments (not included). Hook these cylinders into your compressed air line to push and pull loads. They’re double-acting, so they operate at full force in either direction. The magnetic piston inside these cylinders can activate relays and controllers when used with a sensor (not included). Cylinders that are rated for use in Fed. Std. Class 1,000 and ISO Class 6 clean rooms have a low-friction polyurethane seal that wears slower and creates fewer particles than standard seals. As the rod moves, the seal wipes its surface clean of grease particles. The end caps are tightly crimped to stop air from leaking out. These cylinders have an ISO industry-standard footprint that fits common mounting patterns.

Flexible-Mount ISO Air Cylinders
For multiple mounting options, these air cylinders match an industry standard ISO footprint and have threaded holes on the face and sides. Their ISO footprint makes it easy to change out an old air cylinder. To mount them directly to equipment or add on attachments, use the threaded through holes. These cylinders are double acting, so they push and pull loads with equal force.
The piston is magnetic, so you can use these cylinders with sensors (not included) to activate relays and controllers. When the piston moves past a sensor, the sensor activates. You can use multiple sensors—one for each action you want to trigger.

Air Slides
Convenient for use with devices such as grippers and printing heads, these air slides have a nonrotating head that provides steady motion and a larger mounting area than air cylinders. Air slides have two guide rods parallel to the piston that keep the head from twisting as it extends and retracts.
The magnetic piston inside these slides can activate relays and controllers when used with a sensor (not included). When the piston moves past the sensor, the sensor activates. You can use multiple sensors—attach one for each action to trigger.

Adjustable-Angle Rotary Air Actuators
Turn the adjustment bolt on these actuators to set the rotation you need for your application. Powered by compressed air, they create rotary movement. They’re great for moving and positioning in pick-and-place operations and for controlling flow in a system by opening and closing a valve. These actuators are double acting, so they use air to exert force in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions.
Attach a sensor (sold separately) to monitor position and activate relays and controllers.
304 stainless steel actuators withstand corrosive environments better than aluminum actuators. When you first set them up, attach a flow control valve to adjust the flow of compressed air.
