Hard Plastic Tubing for Vehicle Air Systems

Safely power seat controls, horns, and other vehicle parts with compressed air. This tubing meets SAE or D.O.T. testing and performance standards for use in air-powered vehicle systems. It’s opaque, so you can’t see what’s flowing through the line. Semi-flexible, it’s good for gradual bends.
Tubing that meets D.O.T. FMVSS 106 is rated for use in motor vehicle brake systems. It’s also known as air brake tubing.

D.O.T. Hose

Also known as air brake hose, this hose safely powers brakes in semitrucks, trailers, and other vehicles with compressed air. It meets D.O.T. and SAE testing, performance, and dimensional standards for use in vehicle brake systems. It can also be used in hydraulic, diesel fuel, and coolant systems. Reinforced with braided steel wire and braided fiber, it won’t lose its shape under pressure. A layer of braided fiber also protects the outside of the hose from weather and ozone. This hose is compatible with screw-on fittings, so there’s no need for a crimper. All you need is a vise and a wrench to make hose assemblies in the field.

Retracting D.O.T. Air Hose

- Temperature Range: -40° to 200° F
- Material: Nylon Plastic

Safely deliver compressed air to brakes in semitrucks, trailers, and other vehicles with this D.O.T. certified hose. It meets performance and labeling standards for use in vehicle brake systems. Made of flexible nylon, it will bounce back to its coiled form even after extended for long periods. It’s firm enough to hold itself off the ground without support from hangers, so it’s often stretched between a tractor and a trailer. For a secure connection, the fittings have thread sealant already applied. Each fitting also has a spring guard to prevent the hose from kinking. The fittings are brass and the spring guards are galvanized steel to resist rusting.
To prevent connecting the wrong hose, this hose matches the D.O.T's color coding. Blue hose is for service brakes. Red hose is for emergency brakes.

Trailer Brake Locks




Cover and lock air-brake connections or controls to prevent trailer theft during storage, transfer, loading, and unloading.
Style A locks secure most air-brake connections on semi-trailers. They are built to resist weather for outdoor use. Also known as glad hand locks.
Style B locks secure two release knobs on a flat dashboard. Clamp them over air-brake controls on semi-trucks.
Style C locks secure two release knobs on an angled dashboard. Clamp them over air-brake controls on semi-trucks.
Style D locks quickly secure one knob on a dashboard. Clamp them over a single air-brake control on a straight truck or semi-truck.
Plastic locks resist corrosion better than aluminum locks. Aluminum locks are stronger than those made of plastic. Choose keyed alike locks if you need several locks that open with the same key or keyed differently locks if you need locks that each open with a different key.

Trailer Brake Lockouts

Don’t worry about accidents and injuries—these lockouts stop accidental startups and sudden trailer movement, helping you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements. Clamp them around your trailer’s emergency air brake connection, also known as the glad hand or glad valve. Secure them with a padlock and add a lockout tag (both not included) so nobody can connect the trailer to a semi-truck.
