Differential Pressure Switches for Liquids
Detect the difference in pressure between two points. For instance, these switches can indicate a filter is clogged in a pump or cooling system. When the differential pressure reaches your setpoint, they turn equipment on and off, activate automated controls, or signal alarms. They are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can be installed to turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed). All meet at least one safety standard.
NEMA 1 rated switches should only be used indoors. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X rated switches can be used in dirty and wet areas exposed to washdowns and weather. NEMA 4X rated switches also have increased protection against corrosion, similar to 304 stainless steel. NEMA 13 rated switches can be used in dirty, damp, and oily areas. IP66 rated switches protect against dust and washdowns.

Differential Pressure Switches for Air
Often used with ovens, dryers, and HVAC systems, these switches detect small differences in air pressure to indicate a filter is clogged or help you maintain a certain air pressure. When the differential pressure reaches your setpoint, these switches can turn equipment on and off, activate automated controls, or signal alarms. They are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can be installed to turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed). All meet at least one safety standard.
When measuring pressure in ductwork, pair them with a static pressure probe.
NEMA 13 rated switches can be used in dirty, damp, and oily areas. Switches rated IP54 protect against dust and splashing water.

Differential Pressure Switches with Dial Indicator for Liquids
To check the difference in pressure between two points, these switches have a dial indicator that shows differential pressure in real time. The dial indicator operates independently of the switch. You’ll sometimes see these switches used to indicate a filter is clogged in a pump or cooling system. When the differential pressure reaches your setpoint, they turn equipment on and off, activate automated controls, or signal alarms. They are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can be installed to turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed).
Rated NEMA 4X, these switches protect against dirt, washdown, and corrosion. They are also rated IP65 for protection from dust and rinsing. All are CSA certified, so they meet Canadian safety standards.

Hazardous Location Differential Pressure Switches for Air
With an explosion-proof enclosure that meets NEMA 7 and 9 standards for hazardous locations, these switches were tested and verified by UL and CSA for use where explosive gas or dust may be present. Often used with ovens, dryers, and HVAC systems, they can indicate a filter is clogged or help maintain a certain air pressure. These switches turn equipment on and off, activate automated controls, or signal alarms when the differential pressure reaches your setpoint. They are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can be installed to turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed).
In addition to being UL listed and CSA certified, these switches are CE marked and FM approved, so they also meet European safety standards. They also are IP and NEMA rated for use outdoors and protect against dust and splashing water.
When measuring pressure in ductwork, pair them with a static pressure probe.

Differential Pressure Switches with Dial Indicator for Air
Troubleshoot and monitor the difference in air pressure between two points—these switches have a dial indicator to show differential pressure in real time. The dial indicator operates independently, so you can read it even if the power is off. These switches are often used with ovens, dryers, and HVAC systems to indicate a filter is clogged or help you maintain a certain pressure. They activate at two set pressures, so you can trigger different processes, such as turning on a fan when pressure is too low or opening an exhaust vent if it’s too high. They are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can be installed to turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed). All are CE marked, so they meet European safety standards.
When measuring pressure in ductwork, pair them with a static pressure probe.

Get the flexibility of a differential pressure transmitter and a switch in one. These transmitters can work as a traditional transmitter using an analog output but also have electronic switch outputs and IO Link compatibility, making them great for advanced automation applications. Also known as transducers, they measure the difference in pressure between two inputs and convert it to electrical signal. Connect them to your programmable logic controller or receiving device to monitor differential pressure remotely, activate automated controls, or trigger alarms when they reach the set pressure. A digital display lets you monitor the differential pressure and troubleshoot issues at the source. It rotates for readability.
You’ll often see these transmitters used to indicate a clogged filter or help maintain a certain pressure in HVAC systems, pumps, and cooling systems. NEMA and IP rated, they protect against dirt, dust, corrosion, weather, washdowns, and temporary submersion.
For your receiving device to interpret the signal from the transmitter, you will need to calibrate it for the transmitter's differential pressure range and output signal. As differential pressure increases, the output signal from the transmitter will increase. Transmitters will only provide accurate readings within the rated pressure range.

Airflow-Actuated HVAC Switches
Use this switch to sense changes in airflow velocity in duct. The paddle extends into the duct and actuates the switch when airflow reaches the setpoint. Switch is rated NEMA 3R for protection from dirt, falling liquids, and light splashing.
