These attachments clamp onto the end of Mitutoyo electronic, dial, and vernier calipers to stabilize them when taking depth measurements.
Mitutoyo Electronic Precision Measuring Tool Sets with Calibration Certificate
These sets come with calibration certificates traceable to NIST that state the tools have passed a test for accuracy. Each set includes a caliper, a micrometer, and a case. Zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, retains the measuring position when the caliper or micrometer is turned off. A zero-set button allows you to start measuring at any point.
The micrometer thimbles have a constant-force mechanism, so that once the spindle contacts the surface of the measured object, it will stop tightening. This ensures repeatable measurements and prevents over-tightening.
Friction thimbles continue to turn with resistance when the micrometer’s spindle stops tightening.
Ratchet-stop thimbles have a speeder knob to reduce the time it takes to open and close the micrometer. When the spindle stops tightening, the thimble stops turning, but the speeder knob will continue turning with a clicking sound.
Replacement cases cannot be sold to Canada due to import regulations.
