Firebrick Insulation
- Max. Temperature: See table
- Heat Flow Rate: See table
- Density: See table
- Color: Off-White
- Specifications Met: ASTM E84 0/0 for Flame and Smoke
Often used in furnaces, these firebricks have been machined for a snug fit to minimize heat loss. They are flame resistant, meeting ASTM E84 0/0 for flame and smoke. Cut with a brick saw and install with the firebrick bonding mortar (sold separately).

Abrasion-Resistant Firebrick Insulation
- Temperature Range: 0° to 2900° F
- Heat Flow Rate: 9.6 Btu @ 1500° F
- Density: See Table
- Color: Beige
- Specifications Met: See Table
Stronger than standard firebricks but with lower insulation capabilities, these withstand heavy abrasion on the floors and sides of furnaces. They meet ASTM standards for flame resistance. Also known as hard firebricks. Cut with a diamond-tipped tile saw and install with firebrick bonding mortar (sold separately).

Extreme-Temperature Cement
- Max. Temperature: 2500° F
- Density: 122 lbs./cu. ft.
- Color: Beige
Set and repair cast iron and steel furnaces, heaters, stoves, and boilers with this ready-to-use cement. It experiences minimal shrinkage for a permanent smokeproof and gasproof joint. Apply with a trowel or a spatula. A minimum temperature of 212° F is required to harden. Cut hardened cement with a carbide-tipped saw.
Firebrick Repair Coatings
- Temperature Range: -50° to 2350° F
- Density: 100 lbs./cu. ft.
- Color: Beige
Renew heat resistance and performance of worn firebrick. Apply coating with a brush or spray on for a crack-free seal.
