About Durometer Hardness Scales

About Rubber

Guard the edges of panels, signs, glass, and other surfaces in food plants from frequent bumps and scrapes. This trim is FDA compliant, so it’s safe to directly touch food. Since it’s made of rubber, it resists wear better than plastic trim. It also stands up to chemicals, UV rays, and ozone. A hard rating means it withstands high levels of impact.

This trim is flexible enough to bend around tight corners. To install, push it onto the edge of your surface.

Food Industry Plastic Trim

This trim is suitable for use in food preparation and processing environments. It's also chemical resistant. Use it to protect the edges of panels, boards, signs, and mirrors from impact in food processing applications. This trim has a hard rating to withstand high levels of impact. It's also nonmarking.

UHMW trim has better wear resistance than nylon and vinyl trim.

Rigid trim is for use on straights. Very flexible trim can be bent around tight corners.

Push-on trim fits onto an edge and it grips on three sides for a tight hold.

Screw-in trim requires drilling mounting holes and securing it with fasteners.

Style 4 can be used outdoors.
