Flame- and Heat-Resistant Blankets
Blankets are for intermittent contact with flames and hot surfaces.
Fiberglass blankets are best for stress relief applications. Wrap them around a hot metal part to insulate it and slowly cool it to avoid stress cracks and fractures. They can also be used in medium-duty welding applications, since they will protect against sparks and spatter. Silicone-coated fiberglass blankets have added wear and oil resistance.
Soft and tough, carbon fiber blankets withstand temperatures up to 1800°F. Use them to protect from heavy sparks, spatter, and slag in your heavy duty welding applications.
Leather blankets are lightweight and have excellent abrasion resistance. Use them in medium duty welding and auto body applications to protect from sparks and spatter.

Cut these blankets to size with a utility knife. They are for intermittent contact with flames and hot surfaces.
Fire Blankets
Protect personnel from flames. Made of wool, these blankets are treated with a water-soluble cooling gel that helps extinguish flames and cool burns. The storage case has a twist-open top for quick access in an emergency. It can be mounted to a wall using a mounting bracket (sold separately). These blankets cannot be sold outside the United States due to product registration requirements.
