Stud-Style Toggle Anchors for Hollow Block and Brick
Create secure threaded-stud connections in hollow walls and ceilings, such as cinder blocks and hollow core panels. These anchors have the highest shear strength of any of our anchors for hollow block and brick, and are made in the U.S. Their toggle bar pivots inside hollow cavities for a firm hold. All are similar to toggle bolt anchors, but require a smaller hole, so you won’t end up with a gaping hole in your block or brick.
To install, position the washer on the anchor and thread on the nut. Then, push the anchor through your component into a drilled hole and twist the rod 180°—gravity drops the toggle into position. Tighten the nut to secure. You can remove your component by unfastening the nut. Twist the rod back 180° to collapse the toggle and remove the anchor.

Toggle Anchors for Hollow Block and Brick
Embed in hollow walls and ceilings to create secure female-threaded connections that let you remove and reinstall a screw or threaded rod. These anchors have the highest pull-out strength of any of our anchors for hollow block and brick, and are made in the U.S. Often used in cinder blocks and hollow core panels, their toggle bar pivots inside hollow cavities for a firm hold. They’re similar to toggle bolt anchors, but require a smaller hole, so you won’t end up with a gaping hole in your block or brick.
To install, push the anchor through your component into a drilled hole and twist it 180°—gravity drops the toggle into position. Pull the anchor to secure. Twist the anchor back 180° to collapse the toggle and remove the anchor.

Toggle Anchors for Drywall
The toggle locks in place behind your wall to prevent pullout, while fins stop twisting during installation. Unlike traditional toggle bolt anchors, these require a smaller hole and have a flange that covers the hole once installed. Since the gripping force is spread over the length of the toggle, these anchors create a stronger hold than our plug anchors.
To install, fold the anchor in the middle so the toggle wings touch each other. Insert the anchor into a drilled hole and tap it until it's flush with your drywall. Then, use the included tool to pop the anchor open. Next, thread a tapping screw through your component and tighten for a secure hold. You can repeatedly remove your screw without losing strength or the toggle behind the wall. However, the anchor itself cannot be removed.

High-Strength Toggle Anchors for Drywall
Our highest-strength drywall anchors are strong enough to secure pegboards, grab bars, and sinks. The toggle creates an extremely tight hold and won’t fall behind the wall when your screw is removed, so you can switch out components without losing strength. However, the anchor itself cannot be removed. Unlike traditional toggle bolt anchors, the toggle is pulled tight to the wall with the cap, which also covers the hole.
To install, push the toggle through a drilled hole and pull the anchor back toward you until the toggle rests flush against the wall. Then, slide the cap along the straps up to the wall. Push straps side-to-side, snapping them off so they're level with the cap. Next, position your component over the hole, insert a machine screw, and tighten. The minimum screw length is the wall and component thicknesses plus 1/2".

Toggle Bolt Anchors for Drywall
These classic toggle anchors are best for securing handrails, cabinets, and shelving in drywall. All have a spring-loaded toggle that firmly grips behind your wall. Since the gripping force is spread over the length of the toggle, they create a stronger hold than plug anchors. However, they require a larger hole to push the toggle through, which may need patching if not covered by your component.
To install, insert the bolt through your component and thread on the toggle. Then, fold the toggle wings flush against the bolt and push them through a drilled hole until they pop open on the other side. Next, pull back on the bolt and tighten it for a secure hold. The bolt is reusable, but the toggle will fall behind the wall when the bolt is removed.

Stud-Style Toggle Anchors for Drywall
Commonly used to install standoffs to mount signs or panels, these anchors create threaded-stud connections that stay put. All have a spring-loaded toggle that firmly grips behind your wall for a secure hold. Since the gripping force is spread over the length of the toggle, they create a stronger hold than plug anchors. However, they require a larger hole to push the toggle through, which may need patching if not covered by your component.
To install, insert the stud through your component and thread on the toggle. Then, fold the toggle wings flush against the stud and push them through a drilled hole until they pop open on the other side. Next, pull back on the stud and thread on a nut to secure. The stud is reusable, but the toggle will fall behind the wall when the stud is removed.
Drilling Toggle Anchors for Drywall
A cross between a toggle bolt and drilling anchor, these anchors create a secure hold without having to drill a hole first. They’re twice as strong as drilling anchors but only about one-third as strong as toggle bolt anchors. All have a bolt that you can repeatedly remove without affecting the anchor, so they’re good for installing signs and other components you’d like to swap out. However, the anchor itself cannot be removed.
To install, screw the anchor into your drywall until it's flush with the surface. Then, insert the bolt through your component and tighten to flip the toggle open and draw it firmly in place behind your wall.

Toggle Bolt Anchor Assortments for Drywall
Keep a variety of toggle bolt anchor sizes and lengths on hand.
